Long description:

Flirtual is the first VR dating app, creating hundreds of thousands of matches around the world since 2018. Flirtual is a mobile app and website that works much like traditional dating apps: people with any VR headset can create a profile, upload pictures of their avatar, and match with compatible users. But instead of meeting up in-person, matches connect in any social VR app or multiplayer game. Apps like VRChat offer countless magical date experiences in worlds created by other users.

Immersive presence in VR helps you form deep connections with people anywhere in the world. By bridging geographic distance and putting personality first, Flirtual aims to find the very best people for you, wherever they are.

Safety is a primary focus on Flirtual. Users must be at least 18 to join and profiles are actively moderated. VR dates come with less physical safety risk and social apps include safety features like personal space bubbles, blocking and reporting users.

25-year-old founders Kyle Farwell and Anthony Tan grew up in Waterloo, ON, Canada. They are now based in Montreal, QC and Flirtual's remote team collaborates in VR. Kyle and Anthony met many close friends, and Kyle met his wife, in VR. More info at https://flirtu.al/about

"VR is the future of digital interaction. It will re-humanize the internet, the way we communicate, and how we meet new people."
